<scp>CFD</scp> analysis of environmentally friendly wave mitigation measures in river waterways

The impacts of navigation on the hydromorphological and ecological conditions rivers are manifold. Most relevant effects can be linked to ship-induced waves, which temporarily alter prevailing flow conditions. waves usually highest in shallower (littoral) zones, where whole water column is affected by increased velocities. mitigation these desired improve as well prevent bank erosion processes.
